The club will supply playing tops, players to supply their own shorts and socks. Players should carry a packed lunch with them. We will require parents to transport our players to the Calmac Ferry Terminal at Lochaline. Players, parents, and coaches will then cross as foot passengers to Fishnish.

The most suitable ferry is the 10.45am sailing from Lochaline to Fishnish, which arrives at 11.03am. This should allow a sufficient amount of time to get everyone taken to Garmony before the start at 11.45am.

Important Information
Due to essential maintenance work at Lochaline slipway, there is no vehicle access to Mull on this route. The foot passenger ferry will operate from the Wood Pier at Lochaline. Arrangements will be made with Isle of Mull RFC to assist with transport to and from Fishnish.

Can I request please that everyone is at the temporary ferry terminal by 10.15am, to allow time to get vehicles parked, and the group assembled for boarding the 10.45am ferry

Lochaber Rugby Club will pay the Lochaline to Fishnish ferry fare for our players, parents, and coaches to travel to Mull as foot passengers.

The rugby festival is due to finish about 3pm. Depending on timings, we will return on the 4.25pm or 5.10pm ferry from Fishnish. The return crossing to Lochaline takes approximately 20 minutes.

Although the distance from Ardgour to Lochaline is approx. 30 miles, the journey can take an hour or so due to the nature of the roads. For those travelling from Fort William using the Corran Ferry, the sailings at 08.30am, or 08.50am, are the most suitable to allow enough time to travel to Lochaline to arrive by 10am.
