League fixtures have been released for our U16 Boys squad, who will be participating in the Inspiresport Boy’s U16 Caledonia Regional League. There is a total of 10 clubs entered into the league from across both Caledonia North and Caledonia Midlands. Clubs will play each other on a home or away basis. There may be a cup competition to follow the league games.
The first league fixture is Sunday 28th August, so we’ll have to get the boys back in earlier than our original scheduled return date of Saturday 20th August. For the new season I’m planning to hold midweek training sessions on Wednesday evenings at 7pm at the rugby club. All U16 league and cup matches are generally played on Sundays at 2pm. With this in mind, the plan is to only have Saturday coaching for the U16 squad when they do not have a league or cup game on the Sunday. This should ease the weekend travel burden for our parents as the boys will have midweek training, plus either a Saturday morning coaching session, or a Sunday afternoon game.
Our first midweek evening session will be on Wednesday 10th August at 7pm, and then every Wednesday thereafter. Our first Saturday morning session will now be on 13th August at 11.30am, which is a week earlier than originally planned.
