1. Applications should be submitted preferably 4 weeks prior to the function to enable us to apply for an Occasional Licence should it be required. Committee meetings are held on the first Monday of every month where your application will be discussed.

Important: We may not be able to accommodate bookings received at short notice or for Saturdays during the playing season – we recommend that you consider Friday evening as an alternative?

2. Applications will not be considered from anybody less than 18 years of age.

3. BOOKING FEES:-

• FREE to current Life, Snr Playing & Social Members only.

• Non-Members - £100 Per function and the applicant is deemed as the ‘Responsible Adult’. This person has a requirement be present at the function in the event of any incidents.

• Commercial Bookings i.e. Training Courses, Meetings etc - £100 Per day. Tea, Coffee & Biscuits can be provided for a fee. We do not offer a catering service for lunches, but can make some suggestions to meet your requirements.

4. BAR & CATERING:-

• Kitchen: If you require use of the kitchen for a Party/Celebration, this must be cleaned and cleared of any personal utensils, crockery etc by 2pm the following day.

• Bar: No persons under the age of 18 will be served or permitted to consume alcohol on the premises. We do not permit alcohol to be purchased and taken into the Clubhouse for private functions. However, if you have a specific type of drink you would like us to supply for your function, please tell us when you return your form and we will get it in stock for you. Alcohol orders are submitted on a Monday. It is imperative that you and your guests comply with the Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005 and rules applied to Lochaber Rugby Football Club.

• Catering: The club does not offer a catering service, however if you wish to provide your own food you may do so at your own risk, the club will not take any responsibility for any of your party taking unwell due to something they ate at the function. We provide a catering size fridge for food storage and you are permitted to use our crockery and cutlery in condition that they are all cleaned and put away at the end of the function. In the interest of Health & Safety, please clear the kitchen, including the bins, of any leftover food, snacks etc and take them home with you

5. There may be cleaning charge of £30 if the Clubhouse is left excessively dirty after your function, and you are also responsible for the reimbursement of costs for any damage to our property and contents.

6. Fire Safety – Chinese Lanterns are not permitted as they pose a significant fire hazard to private and public property, and they also have potential to cause significant harm to animals and the environment.

7. If you are leaving the Clubhouse in the early hours, please respect our neighbours and leave quietly.

8.. We do not take bookings for 18th Birthday Parties - sorry.
