Responsibilities
The role of facilities management is to check if everything is operating properly and also
maintenance of the Clubhouse and surrounding area on the whole
Key Roles
▪ Managing and Maintaining the Clubhouse and surrounding grounds
▪ Health & Safely (Cleaning Services, Fire Extinguishers & PAT Testing)
▪ Security (Clubhouse Alarm System)
Responsibilities:
▪ Attend Committee meetings (when required) to report any maintenance issues for financial
approval
▪ Arranging contractors to carry out work that can’t be carried out by volunteers
▪ Liaise with Cleaner ensuring necessary equipment & materials are available
▪ Arrange for regular/routine maintenance checks of fire extinguishers to be carried out by
contractor
▪ Arrange for regular/routine maintenance checks to be carried out on the Alarm System and call
out Engineer to deal with any faults.
▪ Arrange for a contractor to carry out annual PAT testing
▪ Recruit volunteers for the annual “Rugby Force Day” and provide necessary equipment & materials
