4. VACANCY - Events Co Ordinator


Club Events Co-Ordinator

Purpose: This behind-the-scenes role is to ensure that all events, such as those to provide additional income, motivate people to attend, ensuring it’s a success in order to ensure the future well-being of the club. There is no requirement to attend monthly committee meetings unless required for a specific reason.

Key aspects of the role:

1. Lead and main point of contact for the organisation of all Club events and Private Function applications. You will have access to the ‘Events’ email address, so there are no rugby emails in your personal inbox.

2. Create a Bar Rota for the year, and arrange appropriate training for any new volunteer bar staff.

3. Liaise and organise with Committee on all applications for Private Functions. Including liaising with Treasurer to apply for a Special Licence (for non-member applications and ensure there is adequate float in the till.

4. Liaise with Bar Convenor in advance to check that there is adequate alcohol/beer in stock, till float and any special drink requested for Private Functions.

5. Arrange bar staff (and any additional volunteers if required) for any planned club event (including Youth Tournaments) or Private Function.

6. Maintain a diary of all events. Put in place a planner of events to maintain momentum and awareness throughout the club.
